Human and his or her ability IV

According to the meaning of the word, philosophy consists of the word philein which means love and passion that is passionate or intense. Wisdom means true truth or true truth. So philosophy means true desire or desire for true truth.

According to general understanding, philosophy is a science that investigates the nature of everything in order to obtain the truth. Philosophy is a science of nature. The science of nature asks what is the essence or essence or essence or essence of things. In this way, the answer will be given in the form of essential truth. This corresponds to the philosophical meaning of his words.

With a special meaning, because philosophy has undergone a long development and is influenced by complex factors, various opinions have emerged about the meaning of philosophy with their respective specifics. Various specific opinions about philosophy, such as rationalism that glorifies reason, materialism that glorifies matter, idealism that glorifies ideas, hedonism that glorifies pleasure, and stoicism that glorifies godly character.

Different views in philosophy are commonplace. This is because each person tries to construct the philosophical building he knows about based on the process he is going through in both the macro-cosmic and micro-cosmic contexts. This difference is also influenced by the freedom of thought that has surrounded philosophers from ancient times until now to find truth and wisdom.

These differences have also led to the birth of schools that have their own specificities, which emphasize something that is considered to be this and must be given a high place. Therefore, starting from the description above, philosophy can be formulated as: Philosophy is the result of critical human thoughts and is expressed in a systematic form; Philosophy is the product of the innermost human mind; Philosophy is a reflection of further science or further deepening of science; Philosophy is the result of analysis and abstraction; Philosophy is a view of life; and Philosophy is the result of deep contemplation of the human soul, fundamental and comprehensive.

From this summary it can be argued that the characteristics are as follows: descriptive, critical or analytical, evaluative or normative, speculative, profound, basic, and comprehensive.

A person who does philosophy is generally a monologue. Monologue in the sense that the dialogue process is carried out. So that on several occasions it can be likened to a person standing on the earth looking up at the stars. Or a person composed on high peaks, looking over the gorges and valleys below. Each one wants to know his true nature or to notice his presence in the natural universe (macro-cosmos) that he is gaze at.

A scientist who is philosophical will never be satisfied to know science only from the point of view of science itself. He wanted to see the nature of science in other constellations of knowledge. What does science have to do with morals, with religion, and whether that knowledge brings happiness to him. Philosophy in this context will explore and examine all events until then the thought interaction process will build a clear and definite constellation according to the findings of thought.

So that a person who thinks philosophically, not only looks up at himself and makes sense of the stars, but slowly a person who thinks philosophy will also break down his ground fundamentally. He no longer simply believed that knowledge was true. Why can science be called true? How is the assessment process based on these criteria carried out? Then what is that right? The question is circular as a circle, which in order to compose it, must start from a point, as a beginning as well as an end. Then how to determine the correct starting point?

It is impossible for humans to nod to knowledge as a whole, even humans are not sure of the starting point that becomes the anchor of fundamental thinking. This is just speculation. Compiling a circle must indeed be started from a point, however speculative. What is important in the process later, in analysis and proof, humans must be able to separate which speculation is the most reliable. The main task of philosophy is to establish reliable grounds. What is logical? Is that true? What is called valid? Is nature orderly or chaotic? Does life have a purpose?

All existing knowledge, starting from speculation. From a series of speculations one can select the most reliable thought which is the starting point of the exploration of knowledge. Without applying the criteria of what is right, it is impossible for other knowledge to develop on the basis of truth. Without determining what is good and bad, it is impossible to talk about morals. Without an insight into what is beautiful or ugly, it is impossible to talk about art.

Therefore, by doing philosophy it will give birth to a dialogical process in finding the meaning of truth and true wisdom. This basic essence will then be manifested in other forms (branches of philosophy), such as philosophy of religion, philosophy of law, philosophy of values and so on.
